Some research shows that TV-watching has negative effects on ADHD symptoms.
A long-term New Zealand study concluded that “…children who watch a lot of television may become less tolerant of slower-paced and more mundane tasks, such as schoolwork.”
Does TV make ADHD worse?
So far, science can’t answer the question of what, if any, foods make ADHD worse. But research suggests that added things, like food coloring, can make some children’s symptoms worse.

Yes. Children as young as age 4 can be diagnosed with ADHD. Some children outgrow the symptoms, but others may not. Research shows that 3-year-olds who show symptoms of ADHD are much more likely to meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD by age 13.
